Sir Thomas Browne (1605-1682), English physician, scholar and author, famous for his wide and eccentric learning and his quaint, exotic prose style. This is his greatest work, written originally circa 1635, containing the doctor's insight into the mysteries of spiritual life. Originally written in manuscript, the writing was not intended for publication but for family use. This Limited edition of 500 copies issued 1898.
