Early in 1961 the famous XK sports car was replaced by the E-Type. There were only 15,496 produced between 1961 & 1964. A roaring 3.8 litre 6cyl. in-line engine with a power output of 265HP giving the XK-E a top speed of 241km/h. This beatifully aerodynamic sports car competed successfully with the top Italian models in appearance, performance and equipment, and became one of the dream cars of the sixties.
