Original olive green boards with blind-stamped decoration to front. Gilt lettering to front and spine. Top edge gilt. 305 pp plus 12pp publisher's catalogue.

Boards have slight wear/bumping to corners and head/foot of spine. Fading to spine. Light coloured spotting to back board, particularly near spine. Browning and occasional mark to edge of text block. Light browning/spotting to endpapers and paste-downs. Faint and very neat previous owners inscription to front free endpaper. Otherwise pages clean and bright.

Overall a very presentable copy of this collectable first edition.
